Youth

Department of Services for the blind, Birth – 13 program

DSB Explorers is a program providing experiences and activities for children ages 13 and under who are Blind, Deaf-Blind, or Low Vision and their families.

Department of Services for the Blind, Teens and Young Adults Program

State agency providing rehabilitation services, job exploration and more for youth 21 and younger.

Washington School for the Blind Calendar of statewide youth Activities

Washington Council of the Blind Families

This is a committee of the Washington Council of the Blind. It focuses on issues specific to families with blind or visually impaired members and oversees activities for pre-K through high school students. To get involved and learn more about the Families Committee, contact the Washington Council of the Blind:

Do you have both Hearing and Vision Loss? Then you would qualify for the free services at the DeafBlind Service Center. Advocacy, Outreach, and Support Services.

A Statewide blindness advocacy organization using education and public awareness to improve the lives of blind or low vision individuals. WCB is an affiliate of the national blindness advocacy organization the American Council of the Blind www.acb.org.
